Echocardiography

The Echocardiography laboratory performs Doppler echocardiographies and peripheral vascular Doppler imaging studies in both adults and children. Omniplane transesophageal echo, stress echocardiograms, and cardiac ultrasound with contrast agents are available. More than 12,000 studies are performed every year. Intraoperative echocardiographies constitute an important support at surgeries. Prenatal echocardiographies are performed jointly with pediatric cardiologists for correct surgical decision making.
