Electrophysiology

The team gathers one of the most important experiences of Argentina in electrophysiological diagnosis, arrhythmia treatment, surgery and radiofrequency catheter procedures. Their activities take place in a laboratory equipped with the latest technology. Automatic cardioverter defibrillator, pacemaker and cardiac resynchronization device implants for severe heart failure are regularly performed, averaging 250 procedures a year. As regards pediatric electrophysiology, they work jointly with pediatric cardiologists in arrhythmia treatment, catheter ablation and pacemaker implant. The systems necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope for all causes and the follow-up of pacemakers and defibrillators is readily available.
