Hypertension

This area plays a significant role in the prevention and diagnosis of arterial hypertension, the assessment of cardiovascular risk and the early detection of atherosclerosis. Their highly-qualified physicians have been trained in hypertension at the University of Michingan, United States, and the University of Milano, Italy, and are members of United States and European hypertension societies. Dr Sánchez is member of the Executive Committee (Officer at Large) of the International Society of Hypertension (ISH).

A comprehensive program for cardiovascular evaluation (cardiovascular day hospital evaluation) has been developed that includes laboratory analyses, a renal, cardiovascular, ultrasonographic and autonomic nervous system evaluations, and detection of atherosclerosis. Non invasive studies for the assessment of the arterial function and structure can also be performed. All the studies can be completed in eight hours.
