Nuclear cardiology

Nuclear Cardiology provides an essential diagnostic tool for patient management and decision-making in a wide range of coronary syndromes, both chronic and acute, cardiomyopathy, heart valve disease, pulmonary thromboembolism, hypertension, as well as oncology and endocrinology. Non-invasive tests providing information on blood supply and cardiac function are performed. Myocardial perfusion with single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) is a common procedure. Besides the strictly cardiological, cerebral SPECT imaging, and pulmonary, bone, and renal studies are also performed. The experience of the team and the technology of this department equals that of the most renowned international centers.
